01 Overview

A release plan that depends on a quiet 2am window is a cost the team keeps paying. We move your application to a model where each new version starts up, passes its health checks and receives traffic only once it is ready, while the previous version stays running as a fallback. Database changes follow the expand-and-contract pattern, so old and new code never conflict over the schema. Everything is rehearsed in staging, including a deliberately failed release, before it is used in production.
