01 Overview

Few buyers can tell whether four lakh rupees for a website is fair or excessive, and the vendor quoting it is not a neutral judge. Forward the quote and the scope document, and an engineer reads it as a competing proposal would be read: what is actually promised, what is missing, whether the price matches the work and which clauses raise concern. You receive a written verdict and a set of questions to put back to the vendor. We do not bid for work we review.

02 Deliverables

4 items

What you receive at handover

  1. D01 A written verdict on whether the price is low, fair or high for the scope described
  2. D02 Items the scope leaves out that commonly turn into extra invoices later
  3. D03 Three to five pointed questions to put back to the vendor
  4. D04 A note on any commercial term worth challenging, such as code ownership or hosting lock-in

03 Outcomes

What should be true once it ships

  • An impartial read on the price before you commit to it
  • Pointed questions that expose a vague scope before you sign
  • Grounds to approve a fair quote with confidence instead of stalling

04 Process

How the 4 stages run

  1. Forward You send the quote, the scope document and any email thread that matters
  2. Read An engineer weighs it against what the work realistically involves
  3. Judge We write up the verdict, the gaps and the questions to ask
  4. Discuss One round of follow-up questions is answered in writing

05 Fit & inputs

A good fit for

  • Founders commissioning a first build with nobody impartial to ask
  • Marketing or operations leads signing off technical spend
  • Anyone weighing two proposals that are difficult to compare directly

What we need from you

  • The quote and any scope or proposal document that came with it
  • One line on your expected budget and your deadline

These inputs are collected through the technical brief in your dashboard after payment. The duration is counted from when they arrive.

No. We do not bid on anything we review under this engagement. If you later want a quote from us, ask separately.

We say so and explain why, which is worth knowing before you sign.

Yes, send both. A side-by-side comparison is often more useful than judging either one alone.

This is technology work delivered digitally — nothing is shipped. Work is delivered into systems you control within the duration stated above, and the delivery and refund policies set out what happens if a date is missed.
