Some decisions need one well-reasoned answer rather than a project: whether to move to Postgres, whether a mobile app quote is fair, why a page takes nine seconds to load on mobile. Send your question with enough context and an engineer replies in writing with a direct answer, the reasoning behind it, and the details that would change it. If the question genuinely needs an investigation, we tell you so and outline what that would involve instead of guessing at length.
