01 Overview

When the original developer has gone, every deployment starts to feel like a gamble. This sprint makes an inherited application workable again: running locally, dependency versions pinned, a smoke test suite in place, credentials removed from the repository and the route to production written down. It closes with a candid assessment of what can be kept and what should be rebuilt, with cost ranges for each. A rewrite is recommended only when the numbers justify it.
